Educational Psychologists

The purpose of the Educational Psychology Team is to provide support to schools and families for meeting the needs of children and young people within the Trust.

 

The support offer from the Trust Educational Psychologists can include:

  • classroom / playground observation of individual children and young people
  • individual assessment of children and young people
  • consultation with parents / carers, school staff and other professionals in relation to individual children and young people
  • providing timely reports to schools, families and other professionals involved with children and young people
  • at least one EP representing the EP team at Inclusion Consultation and APEX Panel Meetings
  • delivering training requested by schools, including Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) and Team Teach Training, and as part of the Inclusion Team’s online / face-to-face training offer
  • providing termly group supervision to Emotionally Literacy Support Assistants (ELSAs) in their geographical areas
